Preparing for NaNoWriMo: Part Three

Here’s part three of my guide to preparing to write a novel in a short amount of time. This time I’m covering Theme & Mood of the novel, with examples of my past works and a look at what this year’s will be.

  1. It’s an interesting challenge to write a full length book quickly. Or even a well thought out novella or short story. There’s so much that goes into it, I wonder at the authors who are able to do it. My own process is far too protracted to be manageable in something like a thirty day time period. I suppose if you have a formula or think it out ahead of time, you might have a chance. In any case, thanks for sharing your tips!
